Queen's HSBC Championships: Emma Raducanu to face Anna Blinkova as Katie Boulter gets wildcard

Emma Raducanu will face qualifier Anna Blinkova in the first round when she makes her return to Queen's next week - and is in the opposite side of the draw to top seed Elena Rybakina.

Blinkova qualified for the main draw after beating Britain's Jodie Burrage in straight sets on Sunday. The Russian is ranked 103rd in the world.

Raducanu last played at the French Open, where she was beaten in the first round by Solana Sierra of Argentina.

She reunited with Andrew Richardson, who coached her to her landmark US Open win in 2021, earlier this year as she looks to get back to an aggressive, first-strike style on grass.

Katie Boulter has also received a wildcard and will play eighth seed Leylah Fernandez in the first round with the potential to face world No 2 Rybakina in the third round.

Two more top-10 players are also set to play Queen's - world No 6 Amanda Anisimova and ninth-ranked Victoria Mboko.

The 2025 women's singles champion was German qualifier Tatjana Maria, who defeated four consecutive top-20 players in her last four rounds, while Asia Muhammad and Demi Schuurs took the women's doubles title.

Carlos Alcaraz took the men's singles title, while British duo Julian Cash and Lloyd Glasspool took the doubles trophy.

It is just the second time that the women's HSBC Championships will be held after a 52-year hiatus from the WTA calendar, with the women's first round starting on June 8 and the final on June 14.

Queen's helps to kick-start the grass-court season in west London, effectively up the road from Wimbledon, which starts at the end of June.

Qualifying: June 6 and June 7
First round: June 8 and June 9
Second round: June 10 and June 11
Quarter-finals: June 12
Semi-finals: June 13
Final: June 14
